Ok, I'm sorry to ask this, and I am aware that this is not the correct spot to be posting this, but I have a noob question...

How do you bend/weld the knife into a certain shape, and how do you know what shape willdo the job?

You GRIND or FILE the pick to the shape you want. Most people start with the "tried and true" shapes oft seen in commercial sets. Others among us modify, tweak, and play to get something we want.

Yes i am, im working on a full set now. I want to make the picks interchangeable using the same handle.

How are you gonna make the pick heads interchangeable>? I've tried using the ole' pick heads in a scalpel handle trick, and found that feedback and stability of the tip goes down dramatically...

I tried the scalpel/exacto knife handle aswell and didnt like it. I'm going to end up making a slip on handle out of a nice wood unless i come up with something else.
