sanding/polishing? help please.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

then there are the bogota type handles, the tensor handle and the ergonomic loop. these both were developed especially for picks made as pairs from bristles.

this type of handle is very good for the bogota pick tips and the method of using them with light pressure.
you will find that this works,

if you twist the bristle, keep about a quarter inch between the two plier jaws to leave room for a 90 degree twist.

i don't plan on making any special handles like that especially the bogota one because, well, i cant make a bogota i've tried and tried and i cant get them right.

ok i found some 220 grit in my shed and sanded some more and the pick is pretty shiny and smooth now there are a few little bumps that you cant feel with your finger but can see is it ok to go from 220 dry to 400 wet now?

it would be so much better if you posted some pics man..

some nice close ups of the metal using your camera's macro function. (its the little flower icon, that allows extreme in focus close ups.)
