When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

But anyway, it is always refreshing to see someone making available images more handy to use and I have added this template to my burgeoning file, now at 223megs of lockpicking related material, videos, audio bla bla, with no duplicates.
Strangely seems, like my old template in a nicely formatted and cleaned-up/edited kind of way.
I like what you did with it Aristotle, I think the newer version is a little better.
As for a bit of history, the third one from the left (the SO snake with the ugly rake on the other end) was the first rake pick i ever made before i ever really knew what i was doing. I figured the best thing to make a pick out of was another pick back then. i made it in my spare time while working in the woods with as old flat file i found after cutting away excess handel with a hacksaw. I don't recommend that desigh for anything but a cheap wafer lock.

You mentioned that you might post a scan of your comp-gen picks. I havent seen it , so I was wondering if you could follow through on it when you get a chance.
I have tried searching but have not found a scan of either Majestics or HPC's Computer Generated Picks that could work as a template.
I am sure lp101 would hold a fund raiser for your bail or help fight any lawyers. Wouldn't we guys !
thanks

What I do is:
I open a new document in photoshop with the size of a A4 page ( 210x297mm), then change the rulers to milimeters, and finally resize the template so that the ruler on the template (usually there is a ruller on a template) corresponds to the ruler in photoshop.
Basically, it should look like THIS.
After a printout is will make a perfect fit for a teamplate.
Cheers,
Aq.

I have watched Pyro's video about 5 times now. It is very good. I have downloaded the templates and printed them. Got to go buy some hacksaw blades now. I can't wait to report that I have picked my first lock. I have learned so much in just a few days. (I think?)

pickmonger:
I was watching a video on YouTube and the guy on there was talking about his picks and he had a set of the computer generated ones. He said that they were way too expencive for what they were, and that he couldnt get them to work for him. He was very good it seemed at picking locks and at raking, so I decided to take his advise. I ordered the set of Majestic Jigglers(8 pack) instead, and have found them very useful. In truth, I have found very few good views towards the computer generated picks. Most people that I have talked with, just dont seem to like them. And in the picks that I have seen, they seem to be to mild, I'm not sure how to explain. With most jigglers, they have sharp angles on them, and the Comp-gen have very wavy or flowing lines. It just seems like they dont have the correct angles that it would take for most locks. I could be wrong, They may be great for some locks. I'm just passing along what i've been told,
Nick

They are not jigglers nor rakes, you insert the pick and lift up and see if the plug turns, if not try differant nagles then remove and turn the pick over and try again, try each pick like this and one should be very close and open the lock if your lucky,
They are supposed to simulate most bitings you can get in a pin tumbler,
