my electronic pick handle

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Colored boards are beautiful. Really digging the orange.

Any thought on cutting rounded edges or a more ergonomic shape like the Southord Max picks, or Legion's handles?

thanks again you guys, i wanted to run this color by everyone, i started with urple first cause i thought i liked it more, then i wanted to try out the orange and i also really like it. I have blue remaining, so that will be coming up soon. I screwed up and let a red board slip past me at work  and now that i see how the orange turned out im really irritated about that.

As to the ergonomics, ill probably try that. I need to get better ventilation before i do and figure out another method to remove material for shaping purposes. right now im using a rough cut file, hacksaw and an endmill looking thing on my dremel. theres a few dremel bits that i want to try out and im thinking that one will work really well. The other challenge is in how to mill out the groove that the pick sits in- if i had an actual mill it would be really easy, but i dont and its a painus.

Once i get a few more made im thinking of of offering up some for trade if theres any interest. Stay tuned.

by far my favorite color on circuit boards is red with gold plated pads.

Hey, Femurat,
you need to be logged in to see the post.
Maybe we should learn a little Italian to get more out of that forum. :)

Questa è bella fattura.

Solo gente civile parla italiano. Naturalmente, questo significa che io non lo parlo molto bene, ma sono in grado di scrivere un po '.

Well geez. There's not much new under the sun is there? Thanks for showing me those they give a few ideas to incorporate into the next picks- which may be delayed a bit due to halo4 and black ops2 coming out witin a week of each other.

heres pick #3, i tried to get it into a more ergonomic shape, I had some issues with the epoxy i use and had to glue twice, and the second time i ended up gluing the pick in upside down. lame. anyway, im not sure if i like the ergo design for this type of pick, you guys can give me feedback on that.

i would take a photo with the other two for comparison but they were sent out over a week ago as a gift.

I think they would look extra cool if you left the edges straight but rounded off all the corners for a more oval look (like Peterson).
