A Tribute to Raimundo's Picks and Tools

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I use the single hump to SPP.

But I mean the actual Raimundo tools. The Southord Single Hump is too big for SPP...
Go ahead, keep plugging away, picking on me! You will end up on bypass or with rigor mortise.

The single peak tool is basicly a hook with a ramp in front so it will move both ways easily.

Are the classic bogotas large enough to fit in most locks? Or is it necessary to get minis as well?

Exactly. The Bogotas are walk around tools in their most part. Basically you have a tool for raking and a tool for SPP'ing, although both can be used to rake. With little practice you can SPP locks easily with the Single Hump!

The original Bogotas are small enough for 90% of the locks (and I'm talking about those tight european keyways!). I've only come accross a couple locks that I couldn't use a Bogota in it (I don't mean I've picked ALL of them, but I surely could use the Bogotas in there... The rest is just lack of skill    )

New delivery, I am very impressed! There were some pretty unique items here so I just included the whole delivery instead of omitting anything that had already been posted. Thanks, Rai!

If anyone has ever thought about trying out any of Rai's work, I'd definitely recommend doing so. Thanks, Rai!

Those look amazing! I only managed to score a few sets of classic Bogotas before Rai closed the books on new orders

Sorry, I'm new to this forum. Is Raimundo no longer accepting orders for his hand made picks?
