Bogota Disappointment

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Seriously, did he say that what made a 'Bogota' wasn't the picking tip of the tool, but the shape of the handle? No idea who the guy is, but I kinda turned off after that and didn't wTch the end of the video. Might be a mistake on my part, but I think he needs to reshoot with a different script at the very least!

Seriously, did he say that what made a 'Bogota' wasn't the picking tip of the tool, but the shape of the handle? No idea who the guy is, but I kinda turned off after that and didn't watch the end of the video.

However, I did go back and watched it all a bit later. The guy says he has around 35 years experience of picking locks, maybe more. Maybe he's great at picking... maybe not so, but here's a thought. He says that two humps on a pick are better than three. Less humps the better because one hump can overset a low pin while the other humps are passing through the lock. Well, that's news to nobody at all that knows anything about picking locks!

The guy seems to be making a very good case for SPPing locks and not raking them at all... including with his rakes that he's selling. Seems like he's just shooting himself in the foot with this video, or did I miss something?
