When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

lol cracked me up.
That is reallllll purdy
I have lots of pelican cases and have to play with pick and pluck foam so I like seeing cases that look like that. It does look like it belongs in the ultimate spy book.

Of course. Not only do they come with the foam, they come with a complimentary knife for cutting it.
Some of the other modes have the foam pre-cut into small blocks. No knife required.
Nice cases. I have a few of them here.

It's very nice indeed, you should get those mini-rolls of duct-tape in there, 'cause you never have enough of that
mikash52 wrote:duct tape is for everything, you never know when you need so why not put it everywhere. the fact that is in the center should show its importance.
...So true :') One should never go anywhere without a big roll of duct tape

it is not duct tape it is aluminium tape, used for dimple lock impressioning.
why i put that in there i don't know. it was so easy so if i want to change the layout of the case it will only take a couple of minutes. the tubular pick box i just store misc stuff in

I agree with silent, put some felt in that. Very cool, you can just put that in your trunk and you're ready to go.

They are indeed cool, however when it comes to wireless use for laptops the haliburtons (like all metal, aluminium cases etc) aren't as good for wireless internet, bluetooth etc. as they can't interfer with the signal.
For laptop cases I reckon the pelican cases win handsdown.
Just a pointless little aside...

Great looking case!
Just a warning that styrofoam packing material can create a heck of a static charge while in transit, so you would want to be careful putting any kind of electronics in there.
If you want to make a "static free" variant of the case just replace the top layer of styrofoam with a piece of "ester" foam (sometimes known as "acoustic tile" foam). It's what you see in Pelican (or similar) cases because it's anti-static and easy to cut (perfect for DIY electronics cases).
If you have a local foam supplier who makes custom mattresses or furniture cushions they'll often have a load of scrap ester that you can often get for next to nothing.

Also, styrofoam packing material can react with other plastics dulling it out. I had this happen to a $200 RF Meter where the lens got fogged up to the point I could hardly read the LCD readout. I treated it with silicon treatment to bring it back most of the way. Make sure you use safe materials. Also, I have found that after cutting safe foam, covering it with a nice color of felt gives it a real pro look.
