So man yes there for tensioning the top of the keyway as doug said.
Ps. Kaotic, make some more tools, I miss them still have yours and never used it, I have it sitting with a few of my favorite tools I don't want to screw up being I'm clumsy, so I made a little Plexiglass case, put a few L.E.Ds on the bottom and sanded the top.
Looks pretty sweet the light reflects off the metal, I will bring it to defcon if I ever get the heck out there

Cool, I was wondering because it seems that the only leverage would be from the other side of the tension wrench...which isn't much.
It just seemed to me that you wouldn't be able to apply enough leverage, especially having to hold the lock in your hand; since all the stress would be focused in the middle of the tension wrench.
i.e., if someone were to be used to holding a lock in one hand, while applying tension in the same hand as the lock, how would you pick the lock with the opposite hand and apply tension with that same hand your pick is in? Because I see it as being near impossible, since the distance between the lock and where your applying tension is so distant.
I see it as being very possible if the lock were in a vise or some other holding apparatus, but not in hand. Now, was it your overall intention to use the tension wrenches in mounted locks?

On another note* Thanks for having my pick in display, I really feel honored you would do such a thing, but it was intended to be used....use it!
Let me know how it works for you.

don't worry I will eventually.. Curiosity kills me.
I would like to take one mor etime out to encourage people to try making there own tools.. look at mine, kaotic's, rays, many other and try your hand in it.
Kaotic makes great picks, although I am not sure if he is making them currently.
Rays Bogata's are absolulty Gems and thats an understatment.
So try your hand.. I like to make them as a hobby, but give it a try, hobbing lock picking is more than locks remeber that.

First I would like to say Mutxy and Fusions sets will be the last to depart, sorry fusion, I have been busy please take no insult to forgetting to list your name mate.
Which brings to the next. Pick making is great fun, but I have a larger project most who have been around or in IRC know what it is.
So If you must have a set made, pm me knowing there not a SO stamped POS and cost something.
This thread is just to share my works with people so they might take a plunge and make a set of there own, and share in the feeling of accomplishment upon completion as I have.
Remeber this is a hobby.. not a buisness, so leave you school yard rants out of it. Please save them for hope or defcon.. I will glady look you in the eye and hear those opinions only I am guessing you will tone yourself down.
With that said.. arm chair genious's, cheapskates, and people with a problem or stupid opinion.. hope or defcon- this is the internet.
Thank you and sorry for wasting the time of those who wish to view learn and create there own works.

Got my pick set this morning and I am still beaming from ear to ear
Tried them on a Mila Euro profile this morning on a lockout and they are sooooooooooooooo good Had it open in about 2 mins SPP with the long hook and then raked it again in a few seconds (once door was open and customer getting spare key set).
Thanks LN21

hello andrew.
just to say if comercial pick makers were helicopter pilots.
you would be at the controls of the space shuttle.
have to go a long way to get finer detail.
thank you very much.

Thanks alot buddy always apprecaite it, I make sets by request only. usually takes a few PM's until people descide exactly what they want.. but there custome.
Thanks again for the compliment, I have seen you picks are there top notch pieces man, superb work.
Again everyone reading this, give a try to making some of your own tools, its challenging, fun, and rewarding.. I mean you own locks with something you made.
Also new comers for other homemade tools, please have a look at Kaotics tools, and Rays Bogata's. Both a great sight to see.
Thanks,
LN21
