When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

My picks came today! I must say, the pictures don't do them enough justice. The just simply have to be seen to be believed. Andy, you are an artist. Many thanks for your understanding and putting up with my additions to the order. Pictures to come, i've been playing around with the macro/ super macro function on my cannon. We shall see how they turn out.

Awesome picks. Great job! I was just wondering, I saw a picture of two tension wrenches, one looked like it was a feather touch, and the other looked like it was made for IC core. Am I right? I've been trying to make my own IC wrench, but I can't seem to get the spacing right.

Correct. Also to get the appropriate spacing just put your stock into the lock and use a Marker to mark the holes.
If you do not have a lock handy perhaps someone could scan the locks botttom down to the right size.
Thanks again glad you guys like the sets.

Beautiful work.
I was curious LN21, what is the raw material you use to make your picks? From the photos it looks as if the thickness taper increases from the end of the pick to the handle (thicker than a hacksaw blade or any other material i have read about).
Cheers.

I count over 60 in my LN21 picks folder.
And there was a second set that you sent me that wasn't photographed, so i'm sure there's more around that other members have.

WOW! You have completely inspired me to did my bench grinder out.
I tried to make a simple hook pick before I bought any pick sets, but after I was done with my first hook pick, I bought a pick set right then... it was horrible. I never used a bench grinder before.
I am definitely going to try again.
I clearly need better material than hack saw blades.
Any suggestions on where to buy stainless steel.
Thanks for sharing your photos.

I think these picks will be better used to pickup chicks than picking locks
