When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

to follow the Gem comment, I was refering to there slimmest gem for IC cores, your workign with thinner metal so the give in the metal to get feeback without bending is a much smaller margin.
So if you add a handel, feedback will be lost, but the trick is find an idea to get that handel to try accomodate the slimmer tang.
I could go on but you get the point. I like to rant

Yeah, I never really understood the whole fancy handle aspect of picks, but man your picks are awsome.

To pre-answer questions about the pic that got cropped out, thats a, lets call it a special tool the end shown doesn't really give any detail so again I concidered fine for the general area.
Thanks for the kind words, Garrentee you will have some fun with the set, it has some good stuff in there, enjoy

locknewbie, you make amazing picks. if you dont mind me asking, what do you make your picks out of? is it a different material for the tang than the handle or what? and what is the general price range for a set ( most common size/style set you make/sell)

Stainless steel tangs... I don't trust spring steal.
Prices are based on the set, anything from special picks, medeco, bypass, ect. Also handel shapes.
For me I jsut like challenges, IE. making a good set, the after that I grow bored hence why I opted to make a few for members who ask.
I will have a photo a JK's set tomarrow sometime, and will do one more then take a break, I am still searching for a few nice euro cylinders to do cutaways again.
Anyone with any euro's that wont kill me in shipping pm me.

Hey great thread, do you know where I could get some shrink wrap, or shrink tube? Is that what you used on those? Also, do you use old butter knives or hacksaw blades?

You can find heat shrink at you local hardware store, also I sure ebay also does.
also if you look up plastic dip, thats also good you can just dip you pick in it, let it dry and Boom rubber handel
