Peterson: Worth the cost?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

In all honestly, 8,9,10 heck even 12 dollars a pick isn't expensive considering what goes into making a quality tool.

You have to pay to play. If you want good tools, you pay good money. This concept applies to life in general... that cheaper car might be more appealing... until it costs you 10x more than the more expensive car because someone cut corners.

Are Peterson's or any other quality lock pick worth it? You tell me.

This is a fair point. Good metal and quality manufacturing cost money. The former takes more initial investment, and then the latter costs because you need higher skill workers and/or more time to make the product.

I think the big thing that Peterson offers is innovative profiles/tools for specialty situations. That is also worth some money.
