When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

you can apparently get "jumbo" bobby pins in the US, but in the UK we call them hair grips and i've only ever seen tiny ones, we dont have jumbo ones, so they're pretty useless for people in the UK to use, they can be used in an emergency, which is why i always carry a hairgrip or 2 in my wallet, but theres much more favourable things to use out there.

Here is a picture of my ultra portable set. I'm not really proud of these due to their lack of true function. But its the idea that counts here. There is a standard business card next to them for size reference. They were made from scraps of metal from other picks. My apoligies for the sloppy reflections in the picture.

they look really ncie though pyro, nice one, really good picks as always!
what are they held in? it kind of looks like you have to re-apply the tape ech time after you take them out.
has anyone seen those credit card sized multi-tool things you get, i think they're made by like a big multi-tool type company, i know theres one made by a better known brand, but 2 secs of searching on google gave this one that looks even better http://www.boysstuff.co.uk/product.asp?id=11934&cid=54, i imagine if you could adapt it to hold picks instead of junk like nail files it would be good.

that j hook at the bottom is for pulling on snap latches? I am suprised that you haven't copied the designs of my picks with the handles, they are very functional and also very small. quicklocks in wales also makes picks from sweeper bristle, and is still making them straight and double ended, ask anyone on the site who has used the picks I make about the handles! The wanderer has just posted a bit on varjeals review on my picks and he has only just started using them. I think that if you want small wallet sized picks and your making picks, you should at least try the designs for handles on my picks. I don't often pound my own drum here about my picks, I prefer for others to talk them up, but as a pickmaker pyro, I am astonished not to see even one copy in your set.

...but for a wallet it is ideal to have them flat, not just small in size.

The beauty of Ray's picks, especially the two-in-one with the safety pin & spring, is that they comprise a half diamond and a Bogota with a tension wrench on the end of each. Oh, and did I forget to mention that they fit into a wallet?
Yes?
Well, they fit very nicely thankyou!
If it ain't broke.....pull it down and see how it works anyway!

Some people call me 'fat-wallet', and not because I carry a lot of cash around.
