When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Just a warning on international orders into the U.S. My safeventures order is being held by U.S. customs and it is not clear if they will release it. I have some leverage because I act as an institutional locksmith, however it is very unlikely most hobbiest could get anything done.

Sorry for the double-post, but I forgot the mention the safe ventures people are being very cooperative and extra helpful. I will let you know how this thing gets resolved.

Well, it seems after being unlucky enough to get my package held at customs, the bureaucracy gods finally smiled on me and they released the package. It just arrived today
My only advice is if your package gets held, send a nicely written, respectful letter describing the laws of your local state (on company letter-head if possible) and defend your right to purchase the item under your state’s laws. At least it worked for me.
The Safe Venture folks, by the way, were great and even had alternate plans in case it didn’t work out. It wasn’t their fault it was held, but they were willing to go the extra mile to make it right.

Congrats Grudge. I got my order without any problems Thursday night. I did use my business name to order the pick set so maybe that helped? Anyway those tension wrenches are AWESOME. I have been picking more the last day than I have in the last few months. New toys are great. I would recommend anyone who can swing a set of the Falle picks to go for it. Now I need to save up for some of their other stuff!!!

Falle Basic Pick Set, couldn't bring myself to mention the name while it was held against it's will (yessss my precioussss). Made my week to see it in the mail basket at work
Assassin, I actually did have them shipped to my business address. Who knows, we may be under some sort of homeland security alert at Dallas customs, or maybe I was just 'lucky' to get mine inspected. I have a lot of luck like that

I've never had to call internationally before. I found a site saying I had to use a country exit code of 011 before the number, but that's still not working for me. The number I've been trying is 011 44 01444 242271. Can someone please post the exact number they used to call Sue?

The trick when calling internationally is to leave of the zero at the start of the national number.
So I'd try 011 44 1444 242271.
But unless they're unusual I would wait till tomorrow!

Keyring you're awesome!
Got them ordered. She said she'd get them off tomorrow. I emailed her yesterday afternoon which I guess would be late over there. I didn't expect to hear back 'till Monday, but I wanted to get the message off while I was thinking of it. I got a reply at 4:15 AM CST saying to call.
I emailed her about my problem, and she told me a different way to call, but I'd already seen your response. So I tried yours first, and it worked no problem.

Received my set today. It will be tomorrow before I have time to really try them out, but not counting Ray's, the set I received have the smoothest edges of any commercially made picks I have. I have nothing but good things to say about Safe Ventures and Sue. It was a pleasure.

Just got off the phone with Sue today--'I'll put them in the post tomorrow!' woohoo!!
So you got yours in 5 days then, Ezer?!? That's REALLY good!
I'm going to start stalking the mail-lady starting around next Tuesday then...

I placed my order with Sue this morning for the Falle picks. It came to $251.07. Hopefully, customs will keep their hammy little mitts off my package. I've been lusting after these picks for 9 years now (since I first saw them in High School)!
*Crosses fingers*
