Just curoius to how that pen thing works, did you make it yourself?
How do the picks clip in?

like REparsed said "xacto knife" they are awsome, especially when you want to hold multiple picks also. i thought i made a radical new idea, lol untill i came here and saw it had already been done. the picks can be put in the slot of the knife and turning the screw to tighten. the picks are made of roller pins which are wider than regular bobby pins, sanded down with the process of 100, 300, 600 "wetordry" sand paper. tension wrenches are made of blow dart gun darts i had laying around and decided to experiment with, they turned out to be good for a lot of dif locks.

Here is a double prong tension wrench I recently made. It is made from street sweeper bristles bent along it's axis to stay flat.

Used 4 pieces total, 2 longer pieces were for the outside working ends and 2 smaller used as spacers, painted them black with high temp enamel then wrapped in heat shrink tubing for a better grip. Because the shrink tubing would not hold tight enough to keep the outside pieces from sliding out while turning, I put 2 spot welds to hold them all together.

I was thinking of making a how-to article with pictures to help others make one if they have access to the equipment. Also, I have made some tension wrenches with small teeth that resemble the Petersons that lay flat and will post a pic of one later.

What do you guys think, how-to or no?

yeah make a guide, but how well does it work?

It works as well as any other DP Tension tool I have used, the slightly thicker handle takes some getting use to but since they are spot welded together, little feed back is lost.

The moderate to advanced picker will notice the little change since they have had the practice and experience to notice the feed back for what goes on inside the lock better.

Kaotic, as usual you have created something that looks too good to be home-made. I can't figure out how you bent those bristles like that. Please post a guide.

I've done the same thing with wiper inserts, but I couldn't get them that close to a 90. great job man

The detail in the spades and club picks are amazing...
Ever tried picking a lock with them?
If you can open a half-decent lock with the club pick I will be even more impressed.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I have always had a nik for making things and making them well. Just wait till I finish up on the double prong bristle wrench, I have something in mind to comemorate (<--SP?) Lockpicking101.

Just give me some days to get everything organized and I will make it a new post so maybe it will be made a Sticky.

I'm going to B&Q to buy some 800 so that the Pick will look nice and shiney
