I'm looking to get some from there, but I'd like to be sure they are top notch beforehand. Has anybody received materials from the link above?

Very nice set of pick there Charlie. I really like the twisted tension wrench in the first picture.

By the width and thickness I'd say these were made from wiper blade inserts.

Charlie: I really like the shape of the second pick from the left in the second picture. The pick all the way to the right in the second picture is interesting. How do these two work for you?

I don't remember how long takes me to make them, but i think aprox. 4 hour :?:
Its made out of the waterresist steel string from car windscreen wiper. Somewhere on this forum was the image of it.

Jaakko wrote:raimundo, I think that the markings "-6", "-12" and "-24" means the length (probably in inches). It makes sence then :)

I emailed them to inquire about what those numbers specify. It is indeed the length of the pieces.

-6 Per pack of 10 = 6"
-12 Per pack of 10 = 12"
-24 Per pasck of 10 = 24"

Charlie

Charlie is a guy who understands the need of a well sanded lowrise pick tip. while he has a nice long hook, he also has several that are very subtle and I bet hes picking locks with them that would frustrate those using the commercial picks.
Every pickset should have some subtle lowrise picks, it is surprising how effective these are on most locks, and especially on locks with long pins, deepcut keys. where other picks would fail by lifting too high.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!

Here is something new. It is one of two picks in a Flame Series, both with identical handles that you see here, but with two different new pick tips. Some may know that I do customing painting on auto's so that is where the idea came from.

I will show them paired up when I scroung around for more materials, I had enough to do this one but need to look around for more or you all will have to wait a little while until I restock some more.

Hope you like them. I have not tried it yet.
