I'm getting a lot of bad links, 404's, etc.
To counter-act this trend, I propose that we start posting pictures on Imgur or equivalent if anybody has suggestions on specific website.
Imgur does not remove pictures that are uploaded (unless deleted by user), which allows people to reliably view them in the future.

Perhaps someone could make a official announcement as to this.

Thanks for the suggestion- but no. This has been addressed in the past, and we are not about to "force" any user to use a specific image hosting site.

Not exactly a time machine, but the Wayback Machine has this thread back to August 2010 and may very well have the 404d images archived. I am assuming it crawls the photo sites more regularly.

Otherwise, I head DeLorean will be producing an electric car in 2013 with a top speed of 120mph so all you'd need otherwise is one of those, a flux capacitor and some plutonium.

you might want to slim down the 3 hump abit between the third hump and the handle so that its alitle more even all the way through other than that they look great.

oops, meant to add description. The top bogata was the first pick i made, way too small-it still opened all the locks i have with some work. The next one down is my most recent one, the handle isnt finished yet but the finish on the tool itself is smooth as silk! The next 3 are works in progress all in need of handles and some finishing polish, some have opened locks others not so much. The last one i really like the wa it turned out but ive not been able to successfully use it ona lock yet. Lame.

Made this handy set mostly for AVA and every other cabinet locks seen here. Yes, there are scratches but that´s because I use these a lot



Coloured picks are made from hack saw blades and bogota from street bristle. Second from the right is for AVAs bottom tension, shadow shows what shape it is. Works like a charm.

After acquiring a used street sweeper blade, I was able to produce both a hook pick and a tension wrench. So far I've picked a few Kwikset cylinders, some Schlages, a Kawneer and a knock-off Yale with just these two picks. This tension wrench was actually surprisingly useful when picking the knock-off Yale in the counter-clockwise direction--my HPC and Peterson Flat Fives just aren't that great for top-of-keyway tension on this particular cylinder. For the handle of the pick I used two strips of wood that I sanded. There is a channel that runs through the center to accommodate the pick. Everything is held together with epoxy glue. Pictured below are the two picks. The locked picked is a five pin Schlage with spools in three of the stacks (although only one tends to snag).
