Collection of templates.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

An onscreen ruler is a great tool instead of using an image editor that requires you to first capture the image. Googe 'onscreen ruler' for some candidates, most of them free. The one I've used is at
http://john.kummailil.googlepages.com/downloads.

Here is (hopefully) an image of an onscreen ruler in action:

It is hosted on MSN Spaces, and some filters block it. Be quicker for you to download a free one and see what it does that try try unscrew an image hosting problems, but I'll be happy to email it to you if you want.
If anyone has some tips on using MSN Spaces for image hosting, I would be very greatful!!!

I have a question about the four bottom picks on this picture.

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p251 ... cksman.jpg

What is the thickness? These are picks to open lever locks and I think the picks are thicker then the common Falle picks. Does anyone have experience with this picks?

hey guys,
I just wanted to thank you for your info and the great templates. Until now I have just browsed sites for the good stuff, and when I landed here I was very impressed. I am a very busy person and I don't spend much time on the internet, but I have a burning desire to learn more about locks. For me to actually register and comment took a lot of extra effort. You guys are obviously active on the internet every day, and I really appreciate the detail of the templates and videos. This helps amateurs like me avoid a steep learning curve when trying to feed a desire for a hobby that otherwise would be more frustrating. Thanks again and keep it up, I'm sure there are others like me who just haven't replied but enjoy your site.

thanks, I don't have some of these. As to scale, some can be scaled by using the manufacturers handle as the guide. If you have one of their pics or can get a scaled pic of it, you can easily duplicate the correct size end or ends.

Hi,
I know this was posted a year ago but i've just downloaded the pick templates from zhouluyi, (cheers :D ) the link works ok and they have printed well.
In my spare time going to try and make some. First aid kit standing by.
If I manage to make will post photos. Dont know how long will take though.
Adios for now.

It is so because auto thefts are quite common and a hobbyist who genuinely wants to pick auto locks will purchase them and find the info they need by examining the locks. There is always good reasons and there is good to be a line somewhere :)
