In other words, the safety pin is attached to a small spring through which you pass the picks. This acts as a holder for the picks and allows you to pin them inside your clothing so they are always with you.

Make sense? :)

Could you please explain a little bit more about the one's with completely circular handles? They look very interesting. Thanks for inspiring so many of us to explore the crafting side of locksport.

You just replied to a post from 2005. Many of these members arent here any more. Raimundo logged on a few days ago but doesn't post here these days.
