Can't say anything about the actual pic posted by db but regarding his bogota's - have you ever used one? It is beyond explanation and understanding. Make one, use one, get bored, think what a piece crap, feel the click and think "wtf?", rinse, repeat. During repetition the parts with boredom and "crap" will get lost because you don't have the time for it before the lock opens. It is really magical.
I have a rather extensive collection of Ray's picks. I use them often. They are amazing. There seems to be a bit of a "luck of the draw" thing going on when I use them, but it's remarkable how often I put the pick in, and have to double check that it wasn't the key I just picked up. They can be that effective. When I received my first set, I went to my lock on my back door (yeah yeah... I know... if I brake it, I fix it...) and put the tension wrench in. I put in the Bogota rake, scrubbed for a second or so, and the lock, she opened.
Then I started pulling lock after lock from my collection. I opened up a whole lot of them. Most of them. It rarely took more than a few seconds. I think my first-day experiences with the lock might have slanted my judgement a bit, because further play has shown me that it's not ALWAYS that easy, but they do work remarkably well.
As far as I'm concerned, every lock picker should own a set of these. It should be standard issue.
When I'm really having a tough time with a lock, I might pick up the Bogotas and find that the lock just pops open like nothing. Other days, it's not quite so magical. But in the end, there's just nothing that compares to these. They are AT LEAST as effective as my SouthOrd pick gun. That's gotta say something.
