pick case

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

pick case

Postby bpc293 » 9 Jul 2006 18:43

i bought a stainless cigarette case and made into a pick case. take a look the piece on the side is just a home made holder. but it fits right in the middle. and i put holes in the insert so i can put a piece of string threw it to put it around my neck. the wrist band gave me the idea.
inside is a bank book cover cut in half and folded on the bottom

it was only like 10 bucks with shipping. those peterson pick handles are pritty hefty if i didnt have those in there it would hold alot more and its sturdy.

What are you going to do when someone asks you for a smoke?

Really cool idea, Im sure it keeps your picks well protected, since it's a solid metal case.

i first put them in a plastic case for persision screw drivers the small ones.
and i was looking at how flimsy it looked and a girl was over and opened up her case for a smoke. so i tryed to steal hers but she would'nt give it up and it was a little short i was looking for the one for 100's and seen 120's. just the right size.

i did that real quick i want to make something better for the insides. i cant find my old leather jacket with the hole in it.

I have been brainstorming some possible case ideas and even thought of maybe making a bundle with pocket that I can put my picks in and then shove them into the bottom of an arosol can.... that would be cool. I like your idea and I would love to try it but I am terrible when it comes to sewing and my inserts would probably not fit in as nicely as yours did.

when i was scared to carry them i would slide them in between my cell phone and the cell phone case. i would use a flat tension wrench. it wouldn't work with flip phones i don't think.
