When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

For a begineer no, leave it be, get yourself a small pickset instead,

Look for the threads on 'Jacknife' and you will see this advice repeated time and time again (ok mostly by me but youll find other pros and cons as well)

Your best bet may be to buy a couple of useful ones individually then if your on such a tight budget,

I suspect you want the key chain set because it looks less obvious when mixed in with a bunch of keys.....rather than a small set in a pocket.

If so, then to be honest and if that is what you really want, then save for the other 12 dollars (i guess you have 20 already) and get them. You are not in any rush i assume.

The pics suggest they are not of particularly good quality.

Yea bud those are junk, was it southern specialties? wel theres is great and has 12 or so interchangable heads, you'll pay more.

But you get what you pay for, and using those picks... well buy plenty of locks thats for sure
