what size picks should i use to pick...

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

i want to pick a master lock padlock(not the kind u need a combo for) what size picks should i use. would the southord 14pc PSX-14 set have the right picks?

Please fill in your location on your profile so we know where you live and can give better advice.

As for PSX-14, that will be fine, but getting into Euro or higher security locks will require slim-lines as they tend to have tighter/more restrited keyways. You could always get a smaller set of both though, they will come in handy in the future for those tougher locks.
