When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Around the year 2000 I was at a computer swapmeet and picked up The Locksmith Version 2.1 after haggling for 10 dollars... I was certainly hoping for more than it provided regarding the hardware... but the video provided on the cd was pretty decent, and most places that teach by video charge a lot more for the video clips... so it was a trade off.
