Warded Picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Warded Picks

Postby Solistravius » 5 Feb 2004 1:45

Hello. I have a fairly small budget and enjoy making my own picks; however I can't seem to find anything on making warded picks such as specifications or a reson not to. I'd really appreshiate information of any kind on this subject. Well thank you for your time and all of the great information you've already given me through your posts.

If you can't get schematics, go buy a warded lock, and use that for proportions. Filing down warded keys works very well, too. There's no reason not to make your own -- I bought mine because I'd rather have the hours it would take to file the stupid thing than the $6 they cost.
