My Homebrews

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Well I haven't logged in for quite awhile because of work and the holidays but I made a new pick today and a new tension wrench and I finally got a crappy digicam to take pics with so I thought why not share my picks(and pics) with you guys. Hope you like them.

well besides the pic being huge, which I can't change I just looked at the deforester and saw that ugly left shoulder on it so I went and smoothed it out

Very nice. You might end up shortening the hook, or best would be to just make another that's shorter so you have more versatility in your kit.

Fresh off the grinder

Just finished with this one. I sized it to fit my hand.. works perfectly, I just need more sandpaper (I'm running dangerously low!)

If anyone has some street cleaner bristles they wouldn't mind sending this way, please PM me! I really, REALLY want a set of bogotas!

It's the shape and the finishing that do the magic; I've made several very effective bogata rakes out of hacksaw blade. Raimundo has a thread somewhere with instructions...
Mainly you'll need the right size round file - a chainsaw file is typical. (A file for sharpening chainsaw teeth - although a file powered by a chainsaw would be pretty cool :-) ) Make sure you get the spacing of the peaks right.
