How can I make a lockpick pen?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

How can I make a lockpick pen?

Okay I have seen the picks in the pen i even have a friend who bought one. How can i make my very own lock pick pen? You know the ones that open the pen and the lockpick is in there...

Ummm, I'm really not trying to be sarcastic, but I think it would be obvious.

Make a lockpick, remove the guts of a pen, insert the pick into the pen and epoxy it in place. Just make sure that the cap can go back on when it's done.

Was there something more you were looking for...?

I don't recall anyone here talking about having one. Look at your friends and make one like it.

I've seen them for sale. They look cool but are pretty expensive and seem kinda gimickey.

You could buy a small set of inexpensive lock picks and ::GASP:: snip them off where the shaft of the pick meets the handle and affix it onto a Xacto knife like this one, http://www.officeworld.com/Worlds-Bigge ... 3001/07Q1/. Some of the models are hollow inside and might have enough room in there to house a few pick tips. Or you can make some pick profiles out of hacksaw blades instead of ruining a perfectly good set of picks. Your call, give it a shot.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

If you are going the way of making one you are gogin the right way as the bought ones are really dire and a waste of money,

A suggestion i would make is to buy an Exacto knife, this is a pencil type body with a clamping part on top that clamps the blades,

Then either buy a set of EPG blades from wendt or make your own tips from hacksaw blades,

Check out my www button for how to make picks,
