Peterson Picks.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Peterson Picks.

Postby freewheelin4eva » 25 Feb 2004 14:23

I am just a hobby picker, and have been using my little southord set for a while. I was looking at the peterson tools, and liked what I saw, thought I would give them a try. But to my dismay I am unable to order from thier website. I was wondering if any one new where I would be able to get peterson picks over the net.
Thanks.

www.lockpicks.com sells some Peterson sets. I've never had a problem with my rakes breaking, though.

Got my set off of www.lockpicks.com and I can't say enough about these tools. If I could only have one set of tools these would be them. I also have never had a problem with these tools breaking or bending but I have heard alot of people say that if you do bend them they will bend back without breaking.

I have just ordered from the Peterson website a couple days ago and it had an error when I tried to submit my order but an email sent to me so I guess everything should be okay I guess? Anyways I hope my picks come soon so I can start picking again.

I'm glad there is some debate on this issue. I shudder when I read why newbies buy the pick sets they do. As long as thinks remain "open" here, people wont accept what we say dogmatically, which can only be a good thing.

The reason I thought I would not be able to order from them is because if you go to the home page it says
"Warning: In accordance with 39 USC Section 3002a, this site is solely for the use of Security Professionals. Only the following are permitted to purchase items from this site: BONA FIDE LOCK MANUFACTURERS OR, DISTRIBUTORS, LOCKSMITHS, REPOSSESORS, OR MOTOR VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS OR DEALERS."
so after reading that I got a little scared. but if you all have had no problem ordering from them I will go ahead and order from them.
Thanks a lot for the help.

Anyways I just received my peterson picks in 4 days, I was very pleased how fast they came. I got the rubber half hook, the hook gem, and the slender gem btw. I also ordered some other picks from another website so they should be coming soon too hopefully tomorrow. :)
