I need a source for hacksaw blades.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I need a source for hacksaw blades.

Hi all,

I've read the FAQ and it states to look for the hacksaw blades that come in a 10 pack for about 2$.

None of the shops I went to had a 10 pack for anythign less than 10.

So I picked up a 4 pack at my local wally world and when I attempted to break it the end bent. :(

Where does everybody get their blades from? at least in the us ;)

Well to break it cleanly, you need to grasp it where you want it to break, (you know with opposing fingers touching, and snap it quickly.. )

Failing that, use pliers or vice grips, and get them as close as possible, and bend it quickly.. Do not slowly bend it, or it will bend instead of the "snap" you want.

Hope this helps.

You can buy them at home depot, or any other hardware store.
Don't go too cheap because they would be bad quality, but don't go too expensive because the blade will be MUCH harder to grind off. (Bad, bad, BAD experiences there)
