I think it was about time to introduce you my entire pick collection. Well recently I've made 2 hook picks with longer handles than I use to, i was concentraing more on the functionality rather than good looking picks, as it turned out they work extremely well. They are crafted with two layers of plastic from cd cases on each side then grinded down and one is covered with 2 layers of varnish and the other with just one thin layer.

1 Snake Rake
2 Half Diamond
1 Half Ball
1 Full Double Ball
1 Full Ball
1 Dimple and/or Mul-T (made it for testing)
1 Feeler
1 Broken Key Extractor
1 Dragon Tension Wrench (Doesn't work wery well)
4 Normal Tension Wrenches (3 covvered with heatshrink)

Wow. I could pick this set apart, but it would be for nothing. I can see it's uniform and as complete as you have made it. Anyone who has cut a dragon is beyond my beginner's critique. Homebrew are my favorite picks. They are the best.

The dragon tensor collection is an attempt to make as near as possible a 'universal' tensor, for every occasion, however, like many other attempts to do this, including double ended tapered or stepped tensors and the twisted or otherwise bent to jam tightly in the keyway, tensors, no one has really made a one for all tensor.
I suspect that the dragon worked well for the original maker, results may vary for you.
While there are a lot of various picks, some of them not so useful, there are only a few varieties of tensors. falles adjustable, the falle fixed dimension tensors which are very easy to make the equivalent. (just take a chainsaw file and cut a U into the end of a piece of flat stock like a hacksaw blade, and bend over the tips that are left after cutting it down to fit a lock.) the spring loaded split tensors for wafer locks and autos.
but there is no universal tensor, all tensors are somewhat versatile as to which locks they fit and can open.

The one tensor for all locks is just not made.

I made this topic for anyone who likes homebrew. Well I have to mention that since i am a begginer in homebrew compared to some masterworks i've seen here I only use a dremel and a file set to make them, i may be lacking some tools to make them better, but still they work pretty well. Tooly my set is not yet comlete and maybe would never be, see its uniform is caused by the lack of variety of locks i've encountered, still I am testing picks that i make to see what fits me hence the 5 hook picks. I am working on Mul-T locks now and possibly i will post some of the picks dimensions needed for those locks and possibly some of the designs hoping that templates can be made. As for the dragon yes raimundo you are right may have worked for the original maker but I am working on it because i live in europe and the locks are tighter here(didn't work on a tubular lock i have), and true there is nothing like a universal tension tool only a versatile one. As for my tensions I will make more as soon as i get a propane torch or something similar.
