LP keychain Pro

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

LP keychain Pro

Postby dktf » 11 May 2009 15:41

Hi all,

i'm a beginner lock picker...i've only gotten into it a few months ago and have already purchased a few sets from both lockpicktools.com and ukbumpkeys.com

i'm getting a new keychain lock pick set called the LP keychain pro...that i saw selling at lockpicktools.com but originally was from the idealcreations website.

i was wondering if anyone could give me a review on the keychain pro compared to other keychain sets (made from southord). i was intrigued by it since it is the only keychain pick with a jiggler pick meant for cars (as well as a half-ball and W rake compared to the standard C-rake we see on standard picks)

thanks all!

Novelty item, pretty much junk for picking. Can be used in a pinch, but really terrible feedback.

lol, let me rephrase that...

All keychain/allen key type sets are more or less novelty type items IMHO. Lousy feedback. Much better off spending your $$$ on a real lockpick set with individual full size picks.

well the set that i'm enjoying the most (that i've purchased recently) is a set of 'wiggler rakes' from ukbumpkeys.com

i don't have a picture with me...but i'm sure if you go on youtube and type in wiggler rakes, it'll help with the search.

any other sets you could recommend for me? btw i also have purchased auto jigglers before...although for some strange reason i think this website forbids the mentioning of them?....i've had problems actually jiggling my car lock...i think the way in which how i'm jiggling is wrong. any tips you could help me on that?

Bump keys and auto jigglers are not magic keys. They require a certain skill level to properly use as well.

They are more or less frowned upon here, and are normally reserved for advanced discussion (auto stuff)

well i finally got the key chain pick in. I'm pretty satisfied with it although the tension tool leaves something to be desired for. I'm still having trouble with the jiggler pick but again that's because i suck with auto jigglers so car door locks are out of the option for me. Can anyone describe a jiggling method that's really effective?

The best method is to get 40 quality posts, stick around for 3 months, apply for Advanced access, and ask again in the auto subforum.
