Looking to buy my first lockpick set (Brisbane, Australia)

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Looking to buy my first lockpick set (Brisbane, Australia)

Postby Brodie28 » 18 Jun 2009 10:34

I am looking to buy my first lockpick set and was wondering where the best place to buy them from is considering my location. I would prefer to buy them from somewhere based in Australia if there is somewhere decent.
If not I guess I will have to order from the sponsor of this site and have it shipped here from the US. I read the thread about beginners buying their first lock pick kit and was wondering if the locks used in Australia are the American style locks mentioned or the European ones used in the UK?

I have a few other questions about buying my first kit, but I won't know until I work out where to buy it from.

Iv been searching around the site and it looks like Ill have to order a set from overseas, so I will be going with lockpickshop.com

My only remaining question now is should I get the slim line pick set or the standard one? I don't know if the locks used here in Australia are US or Euro style.

Also, I want the set I buy to be good and to last me a while... Should I pay the extra cash for metal handles?
