Great pics! Can't wait to see the rest. I have a question about the Peterson rakes, third rake down... how effective is that? I'm ordering some new picks soon, and there's one similar to that included.

in regards to SouthOrd MPSX20 w/Handles.
are the 3rd and 4th picks meant to have a silght bend in them or is this just from use?

I haven't really used that one much. For raking I usually just use the first two and the last one. The third one works decently well, but I just dont have much experience with it.

Those bends came from when I was new to lockpicking and thought if some pressure is good, more is better ;)

Just FYI, those peterson picks are the rubber handled ones. They trifold set contains those picks, the same in plastic handles, 9 "u-bend-it" tension tool strips, the bending tool, and a broken key extractor.

Here are the LAB picks:

LAB Picks

Whats nice about these is that they have a very narrow tang and are easier to move around in small and restricted key ways. I also like the feed back they give.

The downside is that they bend pretty easily.

Wow ! I love the picks you made from hacksaw blades !
They look very effective. Some nice shapes as well.

What is the red stuf you used to cover the handles ??

Thanks :)

The red stuff is tool dip. Interesting stuff, but the can dries out quickly.
