My 1st home made picks and case!

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

My 1st home made picks and case!

Postby Daggers » 24 Dec 2011 15:53

I made my picks a couple weeks ago and just got around to taking pics of them. These are the first I've ever made so the quality isn't as good but I tried. I used the metal in windshield wipers as the material and a dremel to cut them. I use them everyday to practice with on master locks and kwiksets. The 3 picks next to the pen all fit inside the pen after i emptied it out and glued the silver clicker on the end to the pen. The tension wrench at the top fits nicely inside my duct tape wallet and there is a secret pocket in the seam of the wallet that holds another picks and a flat piece of metal to be turned into a tension wrench if I ever need it. Those two aren't shown. The pick and the wrench to the right are two extras that I made just in case. The tension wrenches are double sided with one side being smaller and I use for smaller locks and top tension. It has notches cut into it for better grip.

So....tell me what you think! and if you don't think they're good, tell me please so that i can make improvements. It's only my first try. :D

Thank you! Ironically, the pen i used has Department of Homeland Security on the side (the one face down, I forgot to show it in the pic). People get a good chuckle when they see that.
