Mr. Wizard's Supermax 7 Pin Lockhttps://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxNqjXL ... sp=sharingThis is an easily repinnable lock created by Mr. Wizard, purchased for about $50 USD. I just got into lockpicking recently, and made a purchase from him. What a good starting lock, and maybe even, 'professional' in the means of a 7 pin lock. Using my toolset: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxNqjXL ... sp=sharingI have been able to pick it a couple times, 2,3,4 pins. Sometimes, I lose my touch, and have to drop back a pin or two, but gladly, this is very easy to do. Here are some close up picks of the lock: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

I've been looking at the repinnable practice lock threads, and was hoping you could answer a question for me.
Having picked the same lock with different pin arrangements, do you find the binding order to be fairly consistent when the lock is pinned differently, or does it change sufficiently for each training exercise?

As far as I am aware, binding order changes over time anyway - so I don't think it matters. But to answer your question, for the time being, the binding order does not change based off pin configuration.

The binding order should change if you're using different pins. I'm guessing you were using the same pins in the chambers, just adding or taking away some?

If you are changing between standard driver pins and security drivers, that can change the binding order. So can using a different tension wrench or location where you are using the tension wrench. But the primary binding order is determined by the alignment of the drilled holes in the plug and cylinder.
