Serepick Bogota

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Am I the only one that has problems with my bogota from serepick getting bound up in padlocks? I have great success with door locks, but almost no success with a padlock. Also not sure if this is the right forum or if I'm just retarded with a bogota.

You're giving retarted people a bad name then.. I do wish people in 2013 wouldn't use that term in that way.. and yes, Ask A Locksmith -This Old Lock is not the right area to post your question about Bogota picks in, perhaps Hardware - Lockpicks - Manual would be a better choice, I'll move your post there.

It would help if you mentioned which brand and model padlock, which keyway, etc so we can figure out why your picks are getting stuck.

So far Master, Brinks, and American. Not to offend anybody but I meant retarded in it's pure form which is slow.

Usually too much tension/torque/turning force with the wrench is what causes any pick to feel like it is stuck inside a lock. try bouncing/wobbling your wrench as if you were tapping out Morse code, light tension, medium tension, light tension, medium tension, and during this process rake in and out of the lock in a locomotive piston motion.
