When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I recently purchased a Phoenix Ultimate pick set from Peterson. I am very eagerly awaiting it's arrival, but alas it appears they are sending in by horse! In 2 weeks it has made it from NY to Cincinnati. I can only imagine that by the time it makes it to me in Australia they might be valuable antiques.

"Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport"
It is probably in transit and location update has not been added (I've seen this happen) or if you paid for basic lower price International shipping, they are waiting to fill up the plane with other mail before it leaves that airport and the next tracking update you see will be either Los Angeles, Australian Customs, or your front door.
I recently had something be stuck in Florida for a week and emailed the seller on ebay to see what the problem was, and then went to the post office that afternoon and my item was already sitting there waiting for me. go figure.

Well hopefully it's at least in the air! I am making do with a very average set of Southord picks at the moment!

I heard once on here that someone in Australia had their order sitting in Customs for a few weeks, it turns out the picks were not the problem, but apparently, the lock picking book they also ordered was considered illegal by the folks at customs. Did you just get picks or any other stuff that may be causing unforeseen issues? good luck, hope it shows up soon! Squelchtone

Just the set of picks. Unless Peterson send any literature with them that I didn't ask for? But I have previously ordered picks from the states (that came with the MIT guide to lockpocking), and that got through fine. Having said that customs can't check everything and maybe it was luck that time. As far as I can see through my checking of customs literature, there is no issue with importing picks... I really hope they make it ok, they aren't cheap...

The tracking stops at US Customs, and doesn't go any further. I've seen this a lot with items ordered from US to me in either France or UK. It is frustrating not to get any more info, but that's the way it is. Your set is not stuck anywhere, it just that's where the tracking stops.

We have had some unrelenting winter weather here too, and mail/shipping has been slow even between states.
