Street Bristle VS US American 5200 (2011-present Models)

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Street Bristle VS US American 5200 (2011-present Models)

Postby BSG_314159 » 8 Apr 2015 22:44

First off i am going to have to thank squelchtone for these amazing street bristles!!!!!

Tools used:
Bristle tension wrench
Bristle rake pick (cut like a bump key)
Results: Open all my US American 5200s (post 2011 masterlock) in 5 seconds.

I made a custom tension wrench for the US american lock with the master lock (key15) keyway. The tension wrench goes all the way into the plug completely. I made it that way because the cores that master lock makes for these locks have to much play and you really have to go back work the tension wrench. I think having the tension wrench go all the way inside the core helps with opening this 5200's.

I made this pick a couple days ago with no success... I always used top of the keyway tension which resulted in the rake pushing the tension wrench out of the lock. When I tried my other tension wrenches none of them fit snug inside and still no really awesome results. I put a street bristle inside the 5200 and it did not move at all when turning. Then I stuck my rake inside and just like a key it opened the US 5200.
