Throw away that Goso set, it is meant to rake car doors, not regular lock cylinders or padlocks. I dont think that has an official name other than maybe a double half diamond, but I'm just making that up on the spot. Moving this to Lock Picks from Got Beginner Questions, and please fill in you Profile Location so we can give you advice on where to purchase a better pick set near where you live. Squelchtone

I hope you're kidding ... you went from GOSO to one of Peterson's most expensive kits which has a bunch of bypass tools in it as well? You know that the Peterson set won't make you a better picker, and if you're new at this, prepare to bend and break a bunch of picks. This is why we tell folks to get a Southord pick set for around $30 bucks, because if something happens to the picks and wrenches, you won't feel so bad. Squelchtone
