Best Retail "Bogotas"

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Best Retail "Bogotas"

Just throwing something out for discussion; I've bought picks and I've made picks (with mixed success), and was thinking of spending some money on some Bogota picks. Now, as I'm not sure I'll ever get a set of Raimundo's own, I thought I'd see what the community has to say about what's out there. I was eyeing up the Multipick Bogota Elite set...

I've been toying around with the idea of making a bunch of sets by hand so friends and forum members can have home made ones based on the real Raimundo ones I have as a template.

I thought a UK site had some hand made Bogotas for $17

The Elite set to me are not real Bogotas.. they're posicle handle picks with Bogota tips. Bogotas were always powerful when jiggled using the original handle shape, they also fit into a wallet for covert use. I have tried the Southord Pagodas which are just Bogota shaped tips on a regular pick handle and could not open as much with them.

Depending on price, I might be interested; I was curious as to the quality and finish of the picks as much as anything. I'll be polite and say that I've been unlucky ordering from some UK companies in the past, with some being less than helpful dealing with order problems.
