Keying Programs

Postby RedStagKiller » 15 May 2019 10:55

So I've always made key schedules by hand but we are looking to get into getting a computer program to start doing this to speed things up. Can anyone suggest a decent keying program at an okay price? It'll only have one user and we do standard master keying on regular locks (schlage, corbin/Russwin, sargent, yale) and best A2 Small format cores. Any advice would be appreciated as I have no experience on these programs.
Just an AA living in an A world.

most companies that sell programs have free promotional copies that let you see what they do. Contact a couple of them and see what they offer. I have found that these are a bit "personal", in that what I like may not suit you. If you happen to be an ALOA member, they offer a program on their web site for members. And there are a couple of free programs on line that are ok for simple systems. I don't remember seeing any for SFIC though. I use the ALOA one occasionally and find it to be pretty easy to use. Good luck on your quest.
