Curtis 2000 vs ILCO 025

Postby beel » 25 Jun 2023 17:26

Greetings all,

I took on a landlording gig 2 years back and find myself making keys at Walmart every other week. So I looked what was available on my local scene and I have found 2 machines that are supposedly in working condition. A Curtis 2000 and an ILCO 025. I have researched both machines which seem to be quite adequate when calibrated but was wondering if there would be any reason to specifically choose one over the other. The ILCO is slighter cheaper at $150. They want $200 for the Curtis. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly!

I would take an Ilco 025 over a Curtis anyday. Much easier to find parts for the Ilco machine
