Can someone ID these machines?

Have you noticed the Simplex machine appears to be missing the cylinder key copy dog, or tracer?

Yeah, the first thing I noticed is that it's missing a tracer/cutter-guide/thingy (is that a technical term?) in the closer up picture it looks like it has the other one. I notice it's also missing the pulley/wheel cover. I found one that looked similar in pictures of an estate auction, but it was a model 6210MKII so I could be wrong.
I really don't know anything about it, someone responded to an ad I put out there and said he's cleaning house and wants to sell this.
I see it's got two cutting wheels, and I am guessing one is an angled wheel for brass/nickel keys and the other is a straight wheel for steel keys? Looks like single position jaws on there too.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

It looks like it'd be a fun little project to restore, but I don't want it to turn into a money pit in the process.

You are correct--
one interesting thing about mine is the motor spins in the opposite direction, so counter clockwise,
also mine leaked oil out the cutter shaft bushings like pouring water out of a cup--I pulled it apart and found instead
of brass bushings, the cutter shaft was riding on needle bearings, which I replaced with brass bushings and now mine works fine.
I only really use it for cutting steel keys, as I already have plenty of brass key cutting machines

Okay thank you! So I already have an ilco Dyna-mite that needs little work, an ilco 025 that needs some serious cleaning up.
The fellow is asking $50 for this simplex. Is it worth the investment with all that it needs?

I think you can do better by investing that $50 in other tools or inventory. The Ilco 025 machine should cut everything you need for
cylinder and cam lock keys

Your advice is much appreciated! I was thinking the same thing, no sense investing in a money pit when I've got other tools that'll do the same thing.
