Is there a list somewhere that defines what cams are needed to cut which key types?

Cheeky! Can you tell me what the mapping is? Many times they are sold (2nd hand) only by the abbreviation stamped into the side...

Sorry for my ignorance, I don´t know how the cutter works, but... Do you need a $150-350 set for each keyprofile/cutting card to cut it to code? Lol, 10-20 different keys and its cheaper to buy a computer guided cutter that can do hundreds or thousands of different keys.

The Curtis Key Cutter is a handheld key clipper, I use mine for automotive keys, it is much more portable than a code key cutting machine and uses only hand power to squeeze the handles together

Thanks ST! This site is pretty much all I turned up as well. They have an abbreviated PDF of the operating manual and some used cams for sale. I also found a youtube video from some guy about the cutter, and he also referenced Hawley. I guess all roads point to Hawley, but I was hoping to find a more comprehensive reference.

I've literally got hundreds of Curtis cams and carriages, loads of code books, clippers, key machine parts etc. When Curtis stopped selling this stuff I bought a wholesale lot.

I have the 2009 Curtis Application guide on my older website. I'm slowly but surely moving and updating stuff to my new website, and hope to have it a bit easier to access in the next few months. http://www.hawleylocksupply.com/2009curtis.pdf

I too, bought so much stuff, unfortunately most of it isn't very popular. I've already recycled over a thousand of their small code books. I just started spring cleaning last month, and moving 3/4 of my new and used cams/carriages out of my main shipping area. There's no way I'm going to ever sell 135 CAP1 cams. If you do have a list of parts you want to sell, drop me a message.
