1. Visit https://imgbb.com/ and click the blue START UPLOADING button
2. Browse your computer, pick an image to upload, click the green UPLOAD button
3. Drop down the Embed codes menu and use "BBCode full linked"

Q: Why can't I just upload a photo directly to my post on the forum?
A: While phpBB forum software allows for direct upload/attachment of photos to a post, it was decided since the start of the forum in 2004 to not use this feature as it would require a lot more storage on the servers to store all the photos, as well as a lot of time to run nightly server backups.
There are over 400,000 posts and replies on the forum. Some have photos embedded in them as links and some do not. Imagine if each of these posts had a photo attached to it. Storing and backing up all of those photos each night would be a huge task. This is why uploading your photos to an image hosting site and Copy/Pasting a link to your photos is the preferred way to share your images here.
