New Start UP Washington State

Hello all,
I live in Washington State and am considering in starting a locksmith business as my career in the military winds down to an end. I am looking for advice and or assistance in the matter. Any Washington Statespecific knowledge and training would be greatly appreciated.

Jeffrey, Washington State has no Locksmith certification, but you do need a Specialty Contractors License. To get that, you need a Bond and insurance. All information is on the L&I website http://www.lni.wa.gov/tradeslicensing/contractors/.

I would go into your local L&I office and talk to them in person, they can look all info up for you and print out the paperwork and explain it all.
