fliers get thrown out quickly, so if you have them, distribute them in strategic places over time, not all at once. A small business card will stay posted a lot longer than a poster, posters take up room and are replaced by more posters usually for entertainment events. think of the places where people lose keys and try to get a small business card posted there, but while the card is small make the word locksmith large on it. these will be the same bulliten boards where the taxi companies put their cards. does your community tow away parked cars for the usual justifications? a card by the auto impound lot will bring business, also gas stations, small groceries and entertainment places including saloons, the big places will generally not be friendly to some of the cards, and pull them down, but a large shopping center may see the need automotive locksmiths and taxi companies for their customers.

I just re-read my post and realized that I wasn't all that clear. When I said apartment buildings, I did not mean to knock on the tenants doors. I meant the apartment management office. They have a whole building full of locks that need to be looked after.
