I done a job for a customer a few weeks ago. She lives in a rented flat and all the door have locking handles. She called me out during the day saying she was locked out one of the rooms and needed it open. Anyway went out and slipped it for £50
I get another phone call after 10pm last night saying they are locked out one of the other rooms and they need in urgently. Anyway goes out and this lock wouldn't slip - it had an auto deadlock latch. So i picked it open with the gun and collected £70 for the job - which she was happy with and couldn't stop thanking me enough for going out.
I got an email today from the woman today saying that my website states 'my prices are are the same 7 days a week' and why did i charge her £50 for one visit and then £70 on a different occasion.
I Had to try and explain to her that a job at 10pm is going to cost more than a job at 10am. However these price differences are the same at the weekend as they are during the week. I.E no price hike at the weekend.
Some people eh? Not to mention she had phoned around before deciding on my £70 quote meaning i was obviously the cheapest. She didn't reply to me so obviously not happy
