Pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and talk about life as a locksmith. Trade stories of good and bad customers, general work day frustrations, any fun projects you worked on recently, or anything else you want to chat about with fellow locksmiths.

I'm thinking about getting into installing Garrison Deadlocks, just a bit reluctant as obviously the first install will be on a customers van which is kinda' worrying.
Anyone on here install many? If so once you've marked up and used the step/cone cutters, what sort of tools are you using to finish off cuts? I would imagine a reciprocation saw would be a good option, just seems a bit on the large size for precision.
Do you touch up cut outs with paint to prevent rust, or silicone around the Euro profile etc before the escutcheons are put on for prevention?
