Same over here too, been dead all week. When are those naughty burglars going to start rearing their ugly heads going after the Xmas pressies...?
The cost of setting up this business has cost me my beloved Mitsubishi Evo and more... Let's hope it's worth it in the end...

2 jobs over 2 days - but you can bet if I start doing anything else the phone will ring !.
I didn't count a job I received last night in the 2. Phone went, it was a UPVC installer for a well known national business. He'd been called to open a door for an old lady who'd lost her keys in town - she'd just had the door installed and rang the installers because she thought they'd have a key to open all the doors they install (where have I heard that before !!). Anyhow, the old lady wasn't impressed that he'd suggested taking the door apart to start with, and so he'd drilled the lock. He'd been drilling for over 2 hours, completely discharged both his drill batteries, and had the neighbours recharging the batteries. Eventually he'd admitted defeat and called me. It was a huge hole in the plug, but he'd cleared all the pins, and nearly gone through the back. He couldn't understand why it wasn't opening as the plug was turning. I took a screwdriver out, turned the plug a couple of times, and popped the door open - it was one of the mechanisms that you wind the key a number of times to lock/unlock it. The guy couldn't believe it, and neither could the old lady. I didn't charge, it was only around the corner from me, and I was happy to have got the old dear inside, and made a good impression on the installer (took a card).

Quality Rockford! Always nice when you look a hero
I mentioned last night that I just bought a Chinese takeaway and after not getting a call all day i knew a job would comell!!!! Well, yep i got a call to attend a simple lockout (had finished my meal though which was nice!) UPVC with keys in the house. Used my letterbox kit and she was in.
We had to get a business loan which we're still paying off.
EvoRed, my girlf has a Mits FTO and showed her your post. She was upset for you. Give it a year and you'll have another one

That's what I told myself Adam but it's taking a lot more time than I thought. It'll be at least a couple of years before I can look at buying another performance car. I know the guy that's got mine and I've told him that should he come to sell, give me a call and give me first refusal!
Here's a piccie of the beauty.

That's quick. Mine was over 350bhp, and that was on a conservative map for safety. Never wanted to fry my clutch timing 0-60 but saw an identical car to mine, with slightly less power than I had, do a 4.20 at Castle Coombe.
You obviously like Scoobies, I like Evo's, I've had 2 now. We all have differing tastes, no harm in that.

Dont mention clutches, I had a helix 4 paddle ceramic one in and after TOTB3 it fryed, i only got 150 miles out of it and helix say they dont guarentee motor sport ones
I rally mine at club level as well but on a differant map and its great fun.
Sure i love Scoobs you love Mitsi's i just couldnt help myself bringing it up its a battle that will go on for ever although RC Developments evo is beserk. I was looking for a Skyline at the begining of the year for the drag strip but have decided to hold fire and go for the drift comps late '05 dont know what car though.
