I sent you the PM, I have a bunch in 626 but they all require a round hole so you will have to adapt the handleset

Early Schage E Series handle set. No longer made. Not a rim cylinder. My buddy in CA has some cylinders for these and has some deadbolt cylinders that will work if you make the hole round. I am sending you a PM with his name and phone number.

I actually have one of these early handleset chassis units in my shop, and I can't see why you don't just use a schlage deadbolt housing? The holes on my chassis unit line up fine with a newer schlage housing
Also if you wanna see something crazy, take a look on ebay at what these old handlesets are selling for Last one I repaired needed a chassis unit and an E series latch and instantly became worth $500!

Bill, I already tried a newer Schlage deadbolt housing. I took a picture next to a B560 housing and the holes still do not line up.

I hear ya, the older housing lines up, because the screw holes are tapped for the 10/32 screws I have a few in my junk box, be happy to send you one, it isn't shaped for your rose, but as you said you can cut the out

Did you ever resolve this issue ?
If not, you might need to manufacture your own rim cylinder with the non-standard hole spacing by obtaining a new rim and mortise cylinder and gutting them swapping the shells so that you can drill your own mounting screw holes in the shell from the mortise cylinder.

I did solve this issue. I found an original via a referral here. The cylinder even uses the old B keyway so it works and looks original. I repinned it and cut new keys and it works like new. i will be installing it next week when the owner gets back in town.
